HOSPITALITY ASSISTANT

Houston & Hawkes | London | £15.23 per hour | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Houston & Hawkes is looking for an experienced Hospitality Assistant to join a high-performing front-of-house team. This is a polished, guest-facing role supporting meeting rooms, corporate hospitality, fine dining service and events, with a real focus on detail, presentation and seamless service.

THE ROLE 

• Prepare meeting rooms, dining spaces and hospitality areas to an exceptional standard
• Deliver polished food and beverage service for meetings, fine dining lunches and corporate events
• Provide attentive, professional service to clients and guests throughout the day
• Refresh, clear and reset rooms efficiently between bookings
• Support event set-up, service and breakdown
• Maintain immaculate service areas, crockery, glassware and equipment
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider hospitality team to ensure every service runs seamlessly
• Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety standards

 WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

• Previous experience in high-quality hospitality or front of house
• Experience within premium contract catering, corporate hospitality, fine dining or a five-star hotel would be highly desirable
• Excellent service standards and strong attention to detail
• A polished, confident and professional approach
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to remain organised and composed in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and genuine pride in delivering exceptional hospitality
